At Northcote Studio, we have always valued well-made garments and the craft, the skill, and the time that go into creating them.
We’re also acutely aware of the fashion industry’s shift toward mass production, where speed often replaces artistry. This move frequently results in garments that lack quality, while labour is outsourced overseas and traditional British textile skills continue to fade.

Northcote Studio was created to champion British wool, woven and crafted using traditional techniques.
We want everyone to enjoy premium wool, expert craftsmanship, and high-quality products, without luxury designer price tags.

Sustainability is at the heart of everything we do.
We believe it’s our responsibility to be conscious of our footprint and reduce waste. That’s why all the British wool we use comes from surplus stock rolls — beautiful fabrics left behind by luxury brands due to colour variations, weaving differences, or simply over-ordering. To us, these rolls are still precious. With a little care, they become exceptional garments designed to last for years.

Every piece is made using traditional methods in our London studio.
From design to pattern cutting, from tailoring to the final stitch — your garment is consciously crafted in London, entirely by Nuray, for you.

We believe in honesty and transparency. Labels should reflect reality, and materials should be exactly what they claim to be.

We celebrate individuality and body positivity.
Bodies are unique, and our sizing reflects that. Our silhouettes are intentionally roomy, allowing for space to layer up and stay comfortable throughout every season of life. We can adjust sleeve lengths and garment lengths to help you find your perfect fit. Whether coats are usually too long or too short, we’ll do our very best to customise yours so it feels made just for you.
